What We Believe
& Why We Believe It
Africa is not an emerging story—it is the center of the world’s next economic, demographic, and cultural chapter. With its population projected to grow from roughly 1.5 billion in 2025 to about 2.5 billion by 2050, Africa will account for more than half of global population growth and become the youngest, most dynamic labor pool on the planet.
At the same time, its cities are set to double in population, from around 700 million urban residents today to an estimated 1.4 billion by 2050, positioning African urban centers as some of the most important engines of global innovation, consumption, and production.
The future of Africa will be defined by how effectively it converts this demographic momentum and urban expansion into productive jobs, diversified economies, and resilient infrastructure.
That means investing in human capital, technology, and governance systems that can harness a rising working-age population and rapidly growing cities. For governments, investors, and institutions in the West, partnership with Africa is no longer optional—it is the strategic frontier for growth, innovation, and long-term stability in the 21st century.
